Aberdeen mull over Barr options

Falkirk, 12:21, January 19, 2010 ,

Aberdeen boss Mark McGee is considering his options in his bid to sign Falkirk defender Darren Barr.

The Dons are keen to sign the Bairns skipper and McGee is considering offering players in exchange for Barr's services.
Hibernian and Dundee are also said to be keen on the Scotland international and the Aberdeen manager admits he's going to have to get very creative to sign Barr, but knows there is no chance of the player signing for a fee because of the club's financial situation.
He told the official club website: "We may have to be creative if we are to get anything done that would see Barr brought in this month. But if Falkirk insist on a fee then we will be out of the equation."
