Showunmi has reasons to be positive

Falkirk, 14:40, February 4, 2010 ,

Striker Enoch Showunmi believes the win at Aberdeen can kick-start Falkirk's push away from the relegation zone.

The Bairns recorded their first victory at Pittodrie for more than 50 years with the 1-0 success on Tuesday night and the three points helped the club move off the foot of the table.
Showunmi believes the result could be the turning point in the season as the Bairns look to pull away from Hamilton, who do have a game in hand.
"It was a great performance and it is brilliant to have won here for the first time in over 50 years," he said. "The win has also taken us off the bottom of the table, which is even better.
"We needed to get that win so hopefully we can push on from here. We have a big game against Kilmarnock coming up next week so it was good to pick up three points and get some confidence ahead of that one."
