Lotus technical director James Allison believes Kimi Raikkonen is still in contention to win the world title.

The Finn has impressed in 2012 after returning to Formula One following spells in Nascar and the World Rally Championship, and now sits fifth in the standings, 48 points behind leader Fernando Alonso.
The drivers are currently enjoying their summer break but, with 225 points still to play for, they all know they can afford to take nothing for granted once the competition resumes in Belgium in September.
Having won last time he raced at Spa three years ago, Raikkonen will fancy his chances of victory and Allison sees no reason why the 32-year-old cannot go on to win his second world title.
"Why not?" he said. "There are an awful lot of points for coming first and an awful lot of races left. The lead is miniscule compared to the points available."
