McLaren driver Jenson Button has set his sights on an improved performance in the British GP next weekend.
The British ace has won just once in an unpredictable 2012 season - and that came in the opening race in Melbourne in March.
He has struggled to get amongst the points since then and could only manage an eighth-placed finish last time in the European Grand Prix in Valencia.
However, the former world champion, currently 62 points behind Fernando Alonso in the drivers' standings, has targeted a better weekend at his home GP at Silverstone.
He told BBC Sport: "Hopefully Silverstone is a circuit that will suit us and we will have a great weekend.
"The great thing about F1 at the moment is that fans are always on the edge of their seats. You never know who is going to win, which is a good thing, even though it makes our jobs a little more difficult."
