McLaren ace Jenson Button believes that the searing heat will not prove to be a problem for Mercedes at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Mercedes struggled in the opening two races and picked up just one point from Australia and Malaysia but made it third time lucky when Nico Rosberg secured both a maiden pole and first career victory at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Button spent seven years with the team - six with Honda and one as Brawn when winning the world title in 2009 - and he believes that they are more than capable of challenging this weekend even though the extra heat is expected to bring about different problems.
"They'll be quick," Button told Press Association Sport. "In qualifying pace they are phenomenal, and they have been all year.
"The first time Nico got it together in qualifying was in China, so they are going to definitely be competitive, and it's great to see that they are."
Button finished second to Rosberg last time out to climb up to second in the standings, two points behind team-mate Lewis Hamilton who has been more consistent with third-place finishes in the opening three races.
