Lewis Hamilton has hinted he may extend his stay with McLaren amid speculation surrounding his future in Formula One.

The 27-year-old has looked in impressive form this week having finished fastest in the two practice sessions on Friday ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. Hamilton is still looking for his first win of the season but with six winners in the first six races, the Englishman is still well in the hunt for the world drivers' championship. The 2008 world champion has continued to be linked with a move away from McLaren at the end of the season but the title contender has hinted he may stay with his current employers. He told the London Evening Standard: "I've thought of a move. "Who knows what's going to happen in the future? I'm in no rush. I've got a contract for the rest of the year and I have a job. At some stage my management will have to sit down and start planning. "I'm very happy where I am so I think it may be fairly simple."
