Mercedes ace Nico Rosberg has admitted he has no problems with the new Pirelli tyres in the ongoing Formula One campaign.

The German has enjoyed a mixed season so far but has managed to secure his first F1 win, after taking the chequered flag at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai earlier this month. Pirelli's tyres have been a major talking point in the 2012 campaign to date, with degradation being a sticking point with many of the top drivers on the circuit. Rosberg's team-mate Michael Schumacher has not been impressed with the tyres and has called on changes to be made before the end of the current season. However, Rosberg has been pleased with the impact the tyres have had on the sport, with the F1 Championship overall this term being far more exciting in 2012. He told Autosport: "Personally, I think it's great for the season. We've had four winners in four races, all mixed up. It couldn't be better for Formula One. Also within the races, with the tyre degradation and with lots of overtaking, we've had lots of exciting races."
