Schumacher back to rule, says Brawn
Formula 1, 09:31, January 26, 2010 ,
Ross Brawn is convinced Michael Schumacher can compete for the Formula One drivers' championship at the age of 41.
Seven-time F1 world champion Schumacher was thwarted on his return to the circuit last season as a stand-in for the injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa when he injured his neck.
Now, the German icon is preparing for his long-awaited comeback with new team Mercedes after a three-year absence.
Team boss Brawn said he had no concerns about Schumacher and believes he will be able to mix it again with the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Speaking at the Mercedes F1 launch in Stuttgart on Monday, Brawn said: "He is incredibly fit and I don't think the talent disappears. I'm convinced he can do the job."
