"Unbeatable" Red Bulls on course for win
Formula 1, 18:05, July 31, 2010 ,
Sebastian Vettel will start on pole for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix as Red Bull locked out the front of the grid for the sixth time.
The German was immensely impressive during qualifying on Saturday, eventually finishing half a second ahead of his team mate Mark Webber who was second.
No one could get near the Red Bulls as Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was a second behind Vettel, qualifying in third place.
It will be the 11th time in 12 races that a Red Bull driver will start in pole position for a Grand Prix, the team dominating the majority of this season's qualifying sessions.
McLaren's Lewis Hamilton believes the Red Bulls are "unbeatable" around the Hungaroring and has already forgotten about challenging for the two top places in Sunday's race.
"It was really my target to finish fifth," said Hamilton. "I know that the Red Bulls are impossible to beat.
"It's a second in the middle sector and half a second in the final sector. For Jenson and me, we just look at the onboard footage and laugh. I don't know what they're doing, but it's incredible.
"I pulled every inch out of the car. We've got to work hard but it's a good position for us to start and we're on the clean side. Finishing third or fourth would be spectacular."
