Cottagers can beat United - Hodgson
Fulham, 15:56, February 26, 2009 ,
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson hopes to take advantage of Man Utd's hectic fixture list in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils are gunning for an unprecedented quadruple this season and face the Cottagers at Craven Cottage in the next round of the FA Cup.
But Sir Alex Ferguson's side also has the Premier League and Champions League to worry about, plus Sunday's Carling Cup final against Spurs.
"Of course we can beat them," said Hodgson. "We can beat Real Madrid, we can beat Barcelona, we can beat any team you care to mention.
"But if you're asking are the odds on us winning better than the odds on them winning then I think the answer is pretty obviously no. But yes, we can beat them even if they are clear favourites.
"They've played a lot of games this season, they have a lot of things on their mind and maybe we won't be meeting the Manchester United we met the last time."
Fulham were outclassed in a 3-0 league defeat at Old Trafford earlier in the month.
