Cottagers sweat on defender

Fulham, 14:30, March 18, 2010 ,

Fulham will make a late decision on the fitness of defender Brede Hangeland ahead of tonight's Europa League game against Juventus.

Hangeland has been struggling with a chest injury he suffered at Manchester United at the weekend and may have to sit out along with Andy Johnson and John Pantsil, who are both still sidelined with knee injuries.
Roy Hodgson is also short of options in midfield with Danny Murphy and Jonathan Greening both suspended, although Bjorn Helge Riise is available again after overcoming a stomach bug he picked up last week in Turin.
However, illness has ruled out Swedish striker David Elm from any involvement as the Cottagers look to overturn a 3-1 first-leg deficit.
