Fulham eye move for Wright-Phillips
Blackburn and Fulham have emerged as the leading candidates to sign Shaun Wright-Phillips from Manchester City in the summer.
City are prepared to offload Wright-Phillips as he has fallen down the pecking order at Eastlands behind the likes of Adam Johnson, James Milner and David Silva.
The England midfielder will have no shortage of suitors with Rovers, Fulham, Liverpool, Bolton and QPR all said to be interested in him.
However, it is likely the midfielder would prefer to join a club in European competition and his big wages and potential transfer fee - expected to be at least £6million - could put some clubs off.
Cottagers chief Mark Hughes knows the 29-year-old well from his time at City and that could be a persuading factor on where the former Chelsea ace decides to play next term if he does decide his time is up at Easltands.
