Fulham eye Raul swoop

Fulham are lining up a summer move for veteran Spanish striker Raul according to reports in Spain.

The veteran frontman is set to depart German side Schalke at the end of the season when his contract comes to an end and Fulham have been tipped to make a move, while Premier League rivals Newcastle have also been credited with an interest. Boss Martin Jol is eager to bolster his attacking options in the summer but he may face a battle to convince the 34-year-old to move to Craven Cottage as Raul declared his "future is not in Europe" at a press conference in April when he confirmed he would not be extending his stay with Schalke.
