Hodgson waits on midfielder news

Fulham, 11:34, February 9, 2009 ,

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is anxiously awaiting scan results after Dickson Etuhu suffered an ankle problem in the Wigan draw.

The former Sunderland midfielder was forced off just before half-time during the JJB stalemate and has been sent to see a specialist.
Etuhu has been forced to wait for his chance but his injury allowed new boy Olivier Dacourt to make his debut from the bench.
Referring to Etuhu's setback, Hodgson, who thinks the player might miss a couple of weeks, said: "I sincerely hope it is not any more serious."
Hodgson is set to find out the full extent of the problem on Monday.
