Martin Jol says he has yet to make his decision on the future of Zdenek Grygera despite the defender closing in on full fitness.
The Czech full-back has recently had to overcome the cruciate knee ligament injury he sustained last season after moving from Juventus to Craven Cottage. The 32-year-old only signed a one-year deal when he moved from Italy and as such is a free agent, although he has been training with Fulham throughout the summer. Grygera has recently played twice for the Cottagers, coming through unscathed against Oman 'A' and the U21 fixture with Middlesbrough on Monday night. Jol says he must now decide whether to keep Grygera on for another year but claims he won't do that untill he is 100% match fit. "Grygera is still not match-fit," said the Dutchman. "He played against Oman last week and did well so he's close. We will wait until he's fully-fit to make a decision [on his future]."
