Martin Jol has confirmed that Philippe Senderos is set to feature for Fulham's reserves as he continues his comeback from injury.
The Cottagers chief is keen to have the 27-year-old Switzerland international central defender back in his Premier League squad following his lengthy absence because of a foot injury. And, while Senderos is back in training at Motspur Park, Jol insists he will not be thrown straight back into the first-team until he gets some match fitness built up in the coming weeks. On the former Arsenal stopper, who missed the vast majority of the 2010-11 season after tearing his Achilles tendon shortly after joining Fulham, Jol told the Chronicle: "He's been out for months, so he needs a couple of games for the reserves."
