Fulham are reportedly set to renew their interest in Burnley's highly-rated striker Jay Rodriguez in the transfer window.
Cottagers' boss Martin Jol has already seen a £5million offer rebuffed as the Championship outfit hold out for around £8million for the 22-year-old, whose performances for Eddie Howe's side this past season have attracted the interest of a host of other clubs.
However, while a myriad of other clubs, including Premier League new boys Reading and Southampton, plus Norwich and Scottish Premier League champions Celtic are all thought to be interested, Jol is looking to beat them to the punch by agreeing an early deal.
The England Under 21 cap, who signed a new two-year deal last summer and has a year left on his Turf Moor contract, will have his pick of clubs, but admitted this week that he is not certain where his future lies.
"I don't really think anything of the speculation. I'm still a Burnley player. There's nothing I can do - we'll see what happens," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
