The agent of Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has hinted that he could be on his way to Fulham during this transfer window.
The 32-year-old appears to be surplus to requirements with the Italian Serie A champions after spending the end of last season on loan with Cesena. And, with Fulham boss Martin Jol still looking to bolster his attacking options at Craven Cottage following the departures of Andrew Johnson, Pavel Pogrebnyak, Orlando Sa and Bobby Zamora since the turn of this year, Iaquinta's agent, Andrea D'Amico, revealed the former Italy international could move to Craven Cottage. "We are verifying a number of different options for Iaquinta in Italy, but especially in England," D'Amico told Calcio Sport 24. "Fulham? That is a concrete hypothesis." If Iaquinta joins he will link up with fellow new boys, free agents Mladen Petric and Hugo Rodallega, in the Cottagers' attacking department for the start of the new Premier League season.
