Martin Jol is reportedly weighing up a move to hand a contract to free agent Nigel Reo-Coker as he aims to beef up his Fulham midfield.

The Cottagers boss has already utilised the free transfer market by recently snapping up Greece international captain Giorgos Karagounis, but the Dutchman feels his midfield needs bolstering further having lost Moussa Dembele, Clint Dempsey, Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu in the transfer window.
Mahamadou Diarra is now facing a possible lengthy lay-off because of a suspected cruciate knee ligament injury so there is potentially another gap to fill.
Reo-Coker is available to join the Cottagers immediately having left Bolton when his contract expired at the end of last season.
It looked like the former West Ham man would be heading abroad to either Sevilla or Hamburg in the summer but neither of those clubs firmed up their interest.
And, after Reo-Coker failed to win a deal with Championship side Charlton having trained with Chris Powell's men recently, it looks like Jol is about to swoop.
