Fulham have reportedly had a £4.5million bid for Wolves winger Matt Jarvis turned down by the relegated outfit.

Cottagers boss Martin Jol is continuing to look for reinforcements to his squad this summer and he has become the latest top-flight chief to express an interest in Jarvis. The 26-year-old has already been linked with a move to both Stoke City and Premier League new boys West Ham since the end of last season when the Molineux outfit dropped back into the Championship. However Wolves' chief executive Jez Moxey is adamant they want to keep Jarvis and Sunderland striker target Steven Fletcher in order to bounce back with promotion at the first time of asking. But if Jol increases his offer to meet the £6million valuation this summer, it could tempt Wolves to sell in order to use the money for new boss Stale Solbakken to plough back into his squad. Wolves skipper Karl Henry has potentially boosted Fulham's bid to sign Jarvis because he admitted the uncertainty is 'driving everyone nuts' and not helping the players' prepare for the new season.
