Zoltan to step up another Gera

Fulham, 12:06, June 23, 2009 ,

Zoltan Gera believes he did make the right decision to join Fulham and is targeting a much improved season from his debut campaign.

The 30-year-old struggled to live up to expectations following his move from West Brom last summer, scoring just three goals in 38 appearances last season.
Gera admits that he "expected a better season" but remains confident that he made the right choice to join Fulham, especially with the prospect of European football.
The Hungarian revealed: "There were moments when I asked myself 'did I make a good decision?'.
"I was sure about it one year ago that Fulham wouldn't have relegation problems - not like West Brom. If I must answer, I didn't regret changing team last year."
He added: "We'll have a huge number of games because of the Europa League, so I'll surely have the possibility to show that I can produce better than I did last year."
