Gills opt against Flynn deal

Former Gillingham captain Michael Flynn will not be returning to Priestfield after boss Martin Allen opted against offering him a contract.

Flynn is a free agent after being released by Bradford at the end of last term and joined the Gills for their pre-season training camp at Le Touquet in France.
But Allen told the Kent Messenger: "I had a chat with Michael and he did do very well and he completed all of the training sessions but I have decided not to take him on."
