Clark in commanding position in Texas

South African Tim Clark takes a two shot lead into the final day of the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Texas after a round of 66.

Clark's round of four-under gives him a great chance of claiming his first title on the US tour having been runner-up on six occasions, but he has stiff competition from Australian Jason Day, Steve Stricker and fellow American Steve Marino.
Marino shot the best round of the day, an eight-under 62, to put him back in contention while Vijay Singh remains two shots behind, having carded a round of 69.
Clark started the day one shot behind his partner Stricker before making five birdies and dropping just one shot on the seventh to leave him ahead after the third round.
"I played great golf today and need to try to keep that going," said Clark.
"Today was a good solid round. I did what I wanted to do but guys came at us with some good rounds so it's going to be close tomorrow."
