Oosthuizen admits to Open dream

South African Louis Oosthuizen said it would be a dream come true to win the Open after taking the lead on day two of the tournament.

The 27-year-old moved to 12-under for the championship after a second brilliant day at St Andrews, following up Friday's 65 with a 67 as he took full advantage of some favourable conditions.
Having teed off at 6:41am Oosthuizen took advantage of starting before overnight leader Rory McIlroy and, despite wet conditions, made the most of things before the wind got up.
Having missed the cut on his three previous appearances at the Open, the last two days have represented a remarkable turn around in form, and Oosthuizen says it's a dream to be leading the championship heading into the weekend.
Asked about leading The Open he stated: "It's probably the position anybody wants to be in. It's what we work to achieve and I'm very happy.
"St Andrews is where it all started. Everybody dreams of winning The Open, but to win it at St Andrews is just...you never really think it'll happen."
