Open champ in contention again
Golf, 19:57, July 23, 2010 ,
Louis Oosthuizen is two shots back going into the weekend as he bids to follow up his Open win at the Scandinavian Masters.
The 27-year-old South African carded a second-round 70 and lies two shots behind clubhouse leader KJ Choi.
Oosthuizen was two clear after birdies on the 11th and 12th, but a double-bogey at the 17th, coupled with Choi's superb back nine, saw him slip back.
"It was very cold when we started and quite a bit windy," he said.
"I could see a good round out there still, but I didn't putt so well and I'll try to sort that this afternoon."
Sweden's Richard Johnson moved up to second place on the half-way leaderboard on eight under following his second round 66.
Oosthuizen was joined on seven under by Argentine Rafael Echenique with Italy's Robert-Jan Derksen and Richard Green of Sweden a shot further behind.
Korean Choi shot a five-under-par 67, which included an eagle at the 15th and three further birdies on the back nine, but Dustin Johnson dropped back after a 73.
