Former women's world number one Annika Sorenstam believes Tiger Woods needs to refocus on his quest to win his 15th major.
Woods went into last weekend's US Open as the favourite for the title and looked on course to win his first major for four years when he held the lead going into the third round. However, he struggled to get back on track after a difficult start on Saturday and eventually finished the tournament in a tie for 21st. Sorenstam believes the 36-year-old's performance over the first two days at Olympic Club shows that he is close to winning a big one but says he must learn to relax on the course as his intensity is stopping him from making that next step. "I think that he's putting a lot of pressure on himself," Sorenstam said. "I think that his attitude is not the way it used to (be). He's just one bad swing, and he's losing it. "He used to have so much patience, so much focus. (He) was in such control for several rounds in a row, then he tees off and it's nothing like that," she added.
