Loan star set for Tayside trip
Hamilton Academical, 15:52, December 30, 2009 ,
Mickael Antoine-Curier has told Hamilton he will go back to Dundee on Friday unless they increase his pay packet.
The loan striker's deal at New Douglas Park expires at the turn of the year and talks over an extension have stalled.
The 26-year-old's five SPL goals have enabled the Accies to open a four-point gap over bottom side Falkirk in bid to avoid relegation.
Antoine-Curier has 18 months remaining on his Dens Park contract and can hold out for more cash as he knows he would be eligible for an automatic extension if the First Division leaders can gain promotion back to the SPL in May.
Antoine-Curier said: "I had a meeting with the club on Tuesday and as far as I am concerned it looks like I am going back to Dundee.
"If they negotiate or come back with a better offer I will stay. I think I have proved enough to Hamilton to earn something for myself.
"I am grateful to them to be playing in the SPL but at this time of year and with the situation I am in, I have to look out for myself as well.
"I want to stay but it looks like Hamilton are not prepared to show any movement for me to stay."
