Reid looking to build

Hamilton Academical, 15:10, June 3, 2009 ,

Hamilton Academical boss Billy Reid has dismissed speculation linking him with the vacant manager's job at Hibernian.

Reid lead the Accies during their First Division title-winning campaign in 2007-08 as well as being the first Hamilton boss ever to keep them in the SPL.
His successes at New Douglas Park have not gone unnoticed and it now looks as if Edinburgh based Hibs are considering a move for the highly-rated manager.
However, Reid claims he is focused on his role at Hamilton and intends to improve on last season's ninth placed finish in the next campaign.
He said: "I am not going to comment on the speculation as I am totally focused on doing my job at Hamilton.
"We achieved a decent debut season in the SPL with a ninth-placed finish and now we are looking to build on that.
"My priority at the moment remains looking for new players to take us forward in that respect."
