Reid states Rangers' progress

Hamilton Academical, 17:32, January 20, 2010 ,

Billy Reid praised his players' workrate after Hamilton bowed out of the Scottish Cup in extra time at Ibrox.

The Accies boss saw his men take the reigning SPL champions all the way in an enthralling tie, which had originally finished 3-3 at New Douglas Park.
"The players worked tirelessly all night to keep Rangers at bay," he said. "They worked really hard and we have no complaints. The players gave me everything but we never had a cutting edge.
"To come here and hold out for 90 minutes is progress for us. We have come here and had a few thumpings over the years."
