Hartlepool skipper Sam Collins is hoping to return from injury in his side's last game of the season at Charlton.
Pools manager Neale Cooper could wait until the last minute before finalising his line-up as central defender Collins aims to prove his fitness following a calf injury.
Teenager Jack Baldwin has stepped in for the absent Collins in the last two matches and will resume alongside Peter Hartley should his captain fail to make it.
Teenager Darren Holden is hoping to retain his place in the side after making only his second start for the club in last week's win over Leyton Orient, but striker James Brown will miss out again with the groin problem that has kept him sidelined since the end of March.
Forwards Colin Nish and Colin Larkin (both knee) and veteran Nolberto Solano (ill) are unavailable.
