Monkhouse calls for consistency

Hartlepool winger Andy Monkhouse has urged his side to find more consistency this season.

Pools finally got their campaign up and running on Saturday with their first win, 2-0 against Scunthorpe, and Monkhouse wants more of the same at home to Carlisle this weekend. "It's no good one or two players doing it, you need the majority of us at it if we're going to do well," Monkhouse told the Hartlepool Mail. "Look at this division, the teams who can find that little bit of consistency are the ones who are near the top. We don't have that consistency yet. "It's a strange league and any team can beat any other on their day. "But we don't want to be one of those sides which is good one week and then poor the next."
