Hartlepool match-winner Ryan Noble delivered on his promise to hit the target at the weekend in his second appearance for the club.
The 20-year-old striker, on loan from Sunderland, made his debut in last week's home defeat to Oldham after telling manager Neale Cooper that he was the answer to Pools' scoring problems and hit the only goal at Yeovil on Saturday.
Cooper told the club's official website: "What a finish it was from Ryan, but I thought his work-rate was fantastic.
"He took a lot of knocks, but kept on going and it was a brilliant goal. I heard him on the phone to his dad and he's so chuffed to have scored, but he deserves it because he's a great lad."
