Hartlepool have handed professional contracts to five teenagers currently in the club's youth team.

Centre-half Nathan Buddle, 18, fellow defenders Lewis Hawkins, 18, and Darren Holden, 18, the versatile Josh Rowbotham, 18, plus midfielder Greg Rutherford, 17, will all join Neale Cooper's first-team squad next season.
The quintet have also featured regularly for Pools' reserves this season, while Holden, Hawkins and Rowbotham have all made their first-team debuts.
Holden was given his senior debut at Tranmere at the end of last season, while Hawkins and Rowbotham started in last month's goalless draw at Walsall.
Two more teenagers, Luke James and Jack Baldwin, have made their respective first-team breakthroughs this season.
Striker James, 17, has scored three goals in 15 appearances until a recent back problem curtailed his progress, while defender Baldwin has featured on 14 occasions.
