Hearts boss in surprise job link
Hearts, 11:35, November 19, 2009 ,
Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has surprisingly thrown his hat into the ring to become the next Scotland boss.
Laszlo, who has publicy questioned the direction the Jambos are taking off the field this season, is thought to be frustrated at Tynecastle and would be open to holding talks with the SFA if they considered him for the role to succeed the sacked George Burley.
"If somebody comes to the club and asks for permission to discuss with me, okay we can discuss, definitely," the Hungarian said.
Scotland do not play again until March so the SFA are in no hurry to replace Burley although they insist they have begun to look around for the new man.
"To be the manager of a country, this is always the highest you can reach," Laszlo added.
"I had the honour to train Hungary and even Uganda and, definitely, I had the feeling of what it took to train a country."
