Injured Hearts ace to see specialist
Hearts, 15:40, October 14, 2009 ,
David Templeton has been sent to see a specialist amid concerns the Hearts striker has suffered a recurrence of his broken foot.
The 20-year-old has been limping around on crutches since Monday after sustaining the setback in training and there are real concerns the youngster has suffered a similar knock to the one which has troubled him so far this season just as it looked like he was regaining full fitness.
Boss Csaba Laszlo admitted he was concerned, saying: "This is a very interesting injury. He had to come out of training on Monday as he was feeling pain in the same place as before and this is a problem for the player.
"He had an operation after the last injury and will go to see the doctors about it. He had a stress fracture the last time and this can happen with young players."
He added on Hearts News: "It must be looked at and we need to see what can be done."
