Laszlo looking for Wallace benefits

Hearts, 12:51, October 7, 2009 ,

Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo is delighted with Lee Wallace's Scotland call and believes the club will benefit from the development.

The left-back has been drafted into George Burley's senior squad for the first time for Saturday's friendly in Japan following Celtic full-back Danny Fox's withdrawal with a hamstring tear.
Burley has had to cope with 10 players withdrawing but Laszlo is pleased Wallace has finally got the recognition he feels his player deserves.
He told the Daily Record: "I am happy for Lee. I am always delighted when a young player gets the chance to pull on the jersey of his national team.
"This will be a big experience for Lee, last season was good for him and this recognition will be positive for his confidence and his game and Hearts will reap the benefit as well."
