Benjelloun hails SPL improvement

Hibernian, 18:11, October 28, 2009 ,

Abdesallam Benjelloun insists people are wrong to criticise Rangers and Celtic and says the other teams are simply getting stronger.

The Glasgow giants currently occupy the top two places but Hibernian are only three points off top spot after the 1-1 draw at Ibrox on Saturday.
Dundee United are a point behind Hibs with Motherwell only two further adrift and Benjelloun insists the standard of the SPL is improving.
The Moroccan international said: "It's not the case Rangers are not strong - it's Hibs that are getting stronger.
"We are becoming a really good team with really good players. We are playing fantastic football.
"People may be saying that Rangers or Celtic are not doing very well but Dundee United, Hibs and Motherwell are becoming good teams as well.
"I think this year will be a very special league and we can have the opportunity to do something good."
