Hibs look for loan deal
Hibernian, 15:38, January 13, 2010 ,
Hibernian have been linked with a loan deal for Plymouth's out-of-favour Scottish forward Alan Gow.
The former Rangers player only signed for the Devon club in August but after a bright start to his Argyle career, dropped out of the first team reckoning and hasn't played for two months.
Gow is believed to be looking for a short-term move back to the SPL and Hibs could be seen as an ideal destination, as he would link up with his former Falkirk boss John Hughes.
If the deal goes through, Gow will add another option to Hibees impressive attacking line-up, that already includes Derek Riordan, Merouane Zemmama and Anthony Stokes.
Hughes is yet to sign anyone this January but is keen to add to his squad to maintain their impressive season to date, and Gow could prove to be an excellent addition.
