Hibs boss John Hughes says he expects whoever he picks against Celtic to take their chance in the current injury crisis.

Hughes admits he is "down to the bare bones" for Saturday's Scottish Premier League game at Parkhead after midfielder Patrick Cregg became the latest to be sent to a busy treatment room. Cregg has not trained all week while captain Chris Hogg, Paul Hanlon, David Wotherspoon, Merouane Zemmama and Alan Gow are among those already missing. Liam Miller is also suspended for this weekend's match but Hughes expects the players who come in to fill the places which are up for grabs to show the commitment required to turn around the club's dismal current run. He told his club's official website: "We are down to the bare bones, but I've said that I can't give them an excuse because I would like to think that every player at this club shows the desire and application to get themselves into the first team - and when you get the opportunity, you have to take it."
