Merouane Zemmama is awaiting the results of a scan after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury in the defeat at Dundee United.
The Moroccan international midfield pulled up after thirty minutes at Tannadice and manager John Hughes is hoping its nothing more than a tweak, otherwise Zemmama could face a month on the sidelines.
Hughes told the Edinburgh Evening News that he is hopeful it's nothing to serious and is positive about the player's condition.
He told the paper: "We don't think it is a tear or a pull and we have our fingers crossed it isn't, as you'd then be talking about a month out at a time when we have a lot of important games to be played."
