Simon Grayson admitted the result was more important than the performance after Huddersfield beat Leyton Orient 3-1.

Although the O's had taken the lead through Matt Spring, two goals from Jordan Rhodes and an own-goal by Jimmy Smith saw the Terriers close the gap on second-placed Sheffield United to five points. "It wasn't a spectacle, we didn't play as well as we can do, our defence of the ball wasn't as good as we would have liked it to have been in the first half but we've won the match," said Town boss Grayson. "At this stage of the season, it's all about getting three points and winning matches. We know we can play better but our confidence levels will have been boosted by another victory. "We worked hard for the win, they were scrappy goals I suppose but that's why we have people around the box to put things in."
