Black Cats set to land a Tiger

Hull City, 08:34, August 28, 2009 ,

Hull are bracing themselves for a player plus cash offer of £6m plus Nyron Nosworthy and Daryl Murphy for centre half Michael Turner.

Tigers boss Phil Brown wants to keep Turner at all costs but he has already had to see off bids for the defender from Fulham, Liverpool. Everton are also interested but Sunderland are ready to offer the two players plus cash as well.
Brown has put a bumper price tag on Turner in an effort to keep him, but that price is likely to be met before Tuesday's deadline comes around.
Hull almost signed Murphy a couple of weeks ago but the 22-year-old could not agree personal terms.
Meanwhile Brown is lining up a replacement and he could make a move for Reading defender Leroy Rosenior.
