Boss hailed by chairman

Hull City, 09:38, November 12, 2009 ,

Hull boss Phil Brown's future at the club looks a little safer after he was praised by chairman Adam Pearson for handling the pressure.

Pearson has praised Brown for the tactics he used during the win over Stoke last weekend and the way he has conducted himself in recent weeks when he has been under intense pressure.
On Pearson's return to the club he called for a little more humility which was seen as a dig at the boss, but Pearson praised his manager following their weekend victory.
"He seemed to get all the major decisions right, on the team selection, the substitutions and match-day preparation," Pearson told the Mail.
"Under such a spotlight that wasn't easy and I thought he handled himself very well."
