Defender Alex Bruce is excited about the prospect of Hull's forthcoming Championship campaign.
The 28-year-old, son of Tigers boss Steve, signed a two-year deal at the KC Stadium and is relishing the challenge of establishing himself as a first-team regular. "I'm obviously delighted to have signed for the club, and am looking forward to the challenge ahead," Bruce told the club's official website. "I had the opportunity to come and train at the beginning of pre-season which gave me an excellent opportunity to get to know the lads that are already here. "I had a couple of offers over the summer to think about, but once I met up with the lads here I felt settled very quickly. When it came up that the club were interested in taking me on full time, I didn't have to think about it for too long. "The years 27-29 are probably the peak years in a player's career and I am entering that phase now. I have played in the Championship for a long time now. My aim is to achieve something in this league now with Hull City."
