Bullard back for Stoke

Hull City, 10:37, November 5, 2009 ,

Hull's record signing Jimmy Bullard is set for a return to the side for the clash with Stoke this weekend after recovering from injury.

The midfielder has yet to make his home debut because, after recovering from his knee injury, he picked up a knock to his shin playing for the reserves two weeks ago and that has kept him out of the side.
The shin injury resulted in swelling in the knee that had been previously injured and Bullard was concerned he had damaged the same knee again. But all appears to be well after he came through a training session on Wednesday.
He now appears to have recovered from the problem and looks to be finally in line to make his KC bow against Stoke this weekend.
"Jimmy was a bit worried about some fluid on his knee so he had a few scans done," a source close to Bullard told the Mail.
"But Dr Steadman has taken a look at them and given them the all-clear so it's nothing to worry about. Barring any mishaps in training, he should be fine to start against Stoke."
