City strike duo set for recalls

Hull strikers Jay Simpson and Sone Aluko are expected to return to the starting line-up at Bristol City.

The pair made way for German forward Nick Proschwitz and Aaron Mclean in the midweek defeat at Middlesbrough, but manager Steve Bruce may be tempted to revert back after his side lacked a cutting edge. Defender Joe Dudgeon is still struggling with the knee injury that has kept him out for the last four matches, but Abdoulaye Faye, James Chester - back from a hamstring injury - Paul McShane and Alex Bruce are all in contention for a place in the starting line-up, while boss Steve Bruce must decide whether to stick with Andy Dawson and Liam Rosenior in defence. Bruce has no new injury or suspension problems, but midfielder Robert Koren remains sidelined as the Tigers chase their sixth win in their last 10 league matches.
