Defender looking for extended run
Hull City, 09:50, November 24, 2009 ,
Hull centre-half Anthony Gardner says he is looking to play every game he can for the side as he battles back to full fitness.
Gardner's career has been hammered by a succession of injuries which prevented him from making any impact at Everton where he never made the first team during a loan spell last season.
His partnership with Kamil Zayatte at the back is now beginning to blossom and wants to prove that he is the man who can become the regular replacement for Michael Turner at the club.
Gardner said: "I'm looking to play every game I can and if that means playing games with no breaks, that is perfect for me.
"You get your form from playing games back to back."
