Double striker swoop mooted

Hull City, 14:38, August 21, 2009 ,

Lokomotiv Moscow's Haminu Draman and Mauro Boselli of Estudiantes are the latest names to be linked with Hull City

With Real Madrid forward Alvaro Negredo set to complete a move to Sevilla, he will join a growing list of strikers to snub a move to the KC Stadium, including Michael Owen, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Fraizer Campbell.
Tigers boss Phil Brown remains keen on strengthening his attack and reports have linked Ghanaian Draman with a £3million switch while Hull have also joined West Ham, Bolton and Wigan in the hunt for Argentina forward Boselli.
Despite their growing list of rejections, Tigers chairman Paul Duffen insists they will not lower their ambitions in the transfer market.
Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail: "This doesn't change anything about the way we do our business.
"It has taken us a long time for someone of Negredo's ability to come so close to joining us, but there's no regrets in aiming for a player of that calibre."
Duffen added: "If we believe a player represents value, then we are prepared to pay the money.
"We've got to get on and do our business between now and the end of the transfer window, but this is just a bump."
