Doyle on Barnsley switch
Hull City, 09:57, November 18, 2009 ,
Hull midfielder Nathan Doyle has refused to rule out making a permanent switch to Barnsley in the New Year.
The 22-year-old is on loan at Oakwell and has been there since mid-September but his loan will come to an end on December 20th although he has not ruled out a return to South Yorkshire. Doyle's first team opportunities have been limited to just a Carling Cup run out for the Tigers this season and he has enjoyed the day to day training and then playing with Barnsley.
He told the club's website: "I've definitely got to go back on December 20 because it's an emergency loan but we'll have to wait and see what happens in January to see how I progress.
"It's been nice training all week and playing at the end of it as opposed to not knowing whether you're involved but I've got to keep my head down, work hard and see what happens with Hull and Barnsley.
"It's been a good time on the field with winning games and moving up the table and competing with top teams in the division."
