Jozy set for start

Hull City, 10:26, August 25, 2009 ,

Hull are to make a raft of changes to their starting line up when they face Southend tonight with Jozy Altidore set to make his debut.

The 19-year-old looked impressive when coming on as a substitute at the weekend and he now looks likely to make his full debut in the Carling Cup clash at the KC Stadium.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is expected to make up to XI changes to his side with Nathan Doyle, Nick Barmby, Craig Fagan, Peter Halmosi and Nicky Featherstone all set to start.
Meanwhile assistant boss Brian Horton has admitted that Altidore may get his full debut tonight, he told the Mail: "Jozy has stated that he needs match practice and with all the problems he's had, he needs football now.
"He's got a chance of starting. He's a confident lad who will want to put his hand up and that's what we need.
He's got pace, he can score goals, he's fresh and he looks like he's got the physical presence to make a mark. We're all looking forward to seeing him starting a game."
